Visitor Information - COVID-19

Happy Jakes Touring Park

Press Release March 2020.

To our loyal and lovely visitors, please take time to read this. We have decided to open as usual firstly to our seasonal pitches as normal. We have decided as our pitches are all 14 meters apart the social separation recommended by the government is easily achievable with our site layout. For Touring visitors please give us a call to chat.

We also feel that our clients are sensible enough to respect other people’s health and well being. Heightened hygiene measures will be in place for the shower block with hand sanitiser and additional cleaning measures provided.

We also feel the Vale of Glamorgan and Happy Jakes is the perfect place  to get away from the troubles and have some clean fresh air and avoid the politics and just relax rather than sit at home scared of a sneeze.

Obviously if you feel you have symptoms then please stay away… If you do visit to enjoy the glorious coastline and beaches or have a Barbecue etc, then please keep a safe distance apart from others respect their space and health and keep washing those hands and use the sanitiser.

The onsite shop will be shut as that is putting us at an unacceptable level of risk for the moment.

We ask that you do not invite visitors be it family or friends onto the site at the moment until the virus is contained.

If you have underlying health issues and decide to stay then please stick to the guidelines as we do not want to put extra strain on the local health services.

Please follow the link for help:-

Anyone found not keeping others safe will be asked to leave immediately.

Please let’s be sensible and have some fun and enjoy your camping.  I am sure we will have a Summer.

Mandy, Mark, Jake, Ruby and Taye
